At Simpletech, we recently installed our biggest state-of-the-art Smart home hub at an exclusive property in Clifton.
The 7-storey, 7-bedroom Cliffside residence now features full integration technology ranging from exterior and interior lighting, Smart blinds and TV lifts in every room.
Modern Architecture Combines With Smart Home Hub Technology
This exclusive residence, located in the silk-stocking Clifton neighborhood, boasts 11 bathrooms with exquisite furnishings, a fully automated state-of-the-art cinema, a gymnasium ready and a deluxe spa.
Adding to this is a steam room and sauna, a swimming pool and hot tub, and an eco-friendly roof covered with vegetation.
Now, modern architecture is enjoyed along with smart home hub technology.
When Innovation Comes Together Through Joint Efforts
Three innovation-driven companies came together to make this project a reality. Winch Design designed the house interiors while Cheevers Poole secured the construction materials and conducted and supervised the construction works.
These partners provided an enabling environment for our team at Simpletech to install state-of-the-art full home automation technologies.
The Installation Of Smart Home Technologies
With optimism, efficiency and passion, the Simpletech team was able to successfully install the following Smart home technologies:
1. Custom-made TV lifts
With more than 10 years of experience in home automation, our team had the privilege to flex our expertise when installing custom TV lifts to meet the client’s needs. The client wanted a custom-made TV lift in every bedroom. Now, the Smart TV installations enable concealment when not in use. Using motor technology, the TVs reveal themselves at the touch of a button.
2. Lutron Custom Lighting
With smart thermostat control, the temperature in every room is controlled remotely using the Lutron App. This gives the resident the ability to set the preferred temperature. Additionally, thermostats were installed to enable easy, efficient humidity control in the rooms.

4. Full Cinema Experience
Having a full cinema experience in the living room required proper positioning of the TV, couches, surround sound home theatre speakers, and proper ambient lighting. This perfect combination was achieved by ensuring that we left adequate and recommended space between the speakers, the TV, and the couches. Cable connections were also properly installed. Now, the surround sound speakers produce the optimum cinematic sounds when watching movies.
5. Fully Automated Lutron Blinds
At the press of a button, the window blinds open up to draw in natural light, showcasing a spectacular view of the south Atlantic ocean. Our seamless blind automation technology made this a reality for the resident. The installed Lutron blinds boasted colours and fabric textures according to the client’s taste.
